XP IRL ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled when you use our iOS application ("App").

We collect limited technical data through third-party services to improve app stability and performance.

We use Firebase, a service provided by Google LLC, to support essential app functionality. Firebase may process limited technical data necessary for its services (e.g., database operations, authentication), but we have disabled usage analytics, crash reporting, and ad tracking.

We also use Sentry, an error monitoring and crash reporting service, to help identify and fix issues in the App. Sentry collects the following technical information:

• Approximate location: Based on your IP address (not precise GPS coordinates)
• Device type: The model of your device (e.g., "iPhone 15")

This information is collected automatically when an error occurs and is used solely for diagnostic purposes to improve app stability. Sentry does not track your browsing behavior or personal activities.

2. How We Use Firebase

We use Firebase for the following purposes only:

• Firebase Authentication: to let you securely log in
• Firebase Firestore: to store your app data
• Firebase Hosting / Functions: to support backend functionality

We do not use Firebase Analytics, Performance Monitoring, or Crashlytics.

3. How We Use Sentry

We use Sentry, a service provided by Sentry, Inc., for error monitoring and crash reporting. Sentry helps us identify and fix technical issues that may occur when you use the App.

Sentry collects technical information automatically when an error occurs, including:

• Approximate geographic location (based on IP address, not precise coordinates)
• Device type and model information
• Technical details about errors and crashes

This information is used solely for diagnostic and troubleshooting purposes. Sentry does not track your personal activities or browsing behavior.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share your personal data with third parties. Firebase and Sentry process technical data on our behalf under their respective privacy and security commitments.

5. Data Retention

We store only the data necessary for your use of the app (e.g., saved preferences or content) and retain it only as long as needed. You may contact us at any time to request deletion of your data.

6. Participation in the Global Leaderboard

If you choose to participate in the global leaderboard, you agree that your profile name may be displayed publicly within the app on the leaderboard screen. No other personal data will be shared or published.

Participation is optional and can be disabled at any time from the app’s settings.

7. Premium Version and In-App Purchases

Our app offers a premium version that can be purchased via Apple In-App Purchases. All purchases are handled through Apple’s payment system.

Please note:

• All sales are final, and no refunds will be provided by us once a purchase is made.
• You are responsible for managing your purchase preferences through your Apple ID account.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access or correct your data
• Request deletion of your account or stored data
• Withdraw consent for specific types of processing
